Art Gallery
On Thursday our class went to the Vancouver Art Gallery! The tour was on the Forbidden City. I found some of the artifacts very interesting especially the sword, and the bow and arrows. They were decorated. I also found the clocks to be very interesting; they were a lot of them and they had beautiful designs on them. I also found the chair that people carried the emperor in was fascinating. The vase with longevity writing ten thousand times on it was one of the coolest things for me.
The paintings they had up were amazing. They were so detailed that you could see wrinkles on the people’s faces! The letters were written so perfect it’s amazing. The calligraphy pens the emperor used were also decorated.
I really liked the armor they had for the emperor, it made him look very big. The emperor’s robe was red and had golden five toed dragons on both sides of the robe. The empresses’ dresses were sometimes yellow and had the five toed dragon on them as well. I've learnt a lot about the Forbidden City and that many of the emperors and their family’s items were usually decorated.

Romeo and Juliet
I liked the Romeo and Juliet play that Mr.Sahota and his class did. I really liked how the actors had so much emotion for example when Isabelle (Juliet) jammed the dagger into her chest the scream made it sound so realistic. They also had very good facial expression ,I think it made it better that they could remember all their lines. It was super funny when Vijay (the Monk) accidently throw the spoon into the crowd! I think Vijay did a good job on his part other then the spoon incident. I also liked the part when
